OK folks, a lot of you have been asking for Player vs. Player Poll Fights, so we'll give it a go!

These fights will be between characters created by you, the fans of DCUO.

The characters should have powers and abilities that we would reasonably expect that a beginning toon in DCUO would have. So if you try to claim that your guy / gal has an offensive weapon stronger than Darkseid's Omega Beams, and that he / she is as invulnerable as Superman, can beat the Flash in a race, etc., that should be counted against you -- because you're obviously delusional.

Each PvP Poll Fight will last a week, and people can change their votes until the poll closes.

The main way to help your toon win is to post art of your character, as well as their basic stats and abilities. You can also post short stories about your toon if desired. If other members feel like posting art in support of someone's toon, then even better.

I would prefer that we all post reasons why we would like a particular character to win. While it's OK to argue that someone's toon has abilities that are overboard, we should not make fun of anyone's hard work, OK? This is to have fun showcasing people's work, not to put down folks or flame.

So this first step is to have people that would like to volunteer their character(s) to be in the PvP Poll fights. If you would like your toon(s) to be in these, please make a post here with your chosen character's name(s) and a single nice picture of them if you have one.

History:
Millionair playboy Gabriel Delgado was a proffesional wrestler for Supreme Fighting Championships. A federation that mixeed pro wrestling with mixed martial arts. Gabriel held every single title there under his name Gabriel Seraph. One fateful night Gabriel was speeding down the highway in his lamborghini and crashed. The car soon after caught on fire and exploded with him in it. At that moment the Angel Micheal appeared and gave him a glowing blue sword telling him that it was time to return to his former life as one of chosen along with a few other people to serve a greater purpose.

The sword was one of the swords of the spirit and was called Soulforge Gabriel then saw a white dove flying above him. The sword absorbed the flames and Gabriel found that he was transformed some how. His hair had turned white. He also sprouted wings made of the same blue energy as the sword and the flames were no longer burning him. At that moment he started to remember who he was. He remembered his life as the ancient immortal Templar Born to Seth the son of Adam and one of the first immortals and also the last of the ancient immortals. Memories of the great war between the immortal factions The Saviors and Corruptors began to resurface. In this war The Saviors were victorious. They then ascended to a new world created for them known as new eden.

Templar was chosen to stay behind and await the arrival of the chosen havng his memory removed until the time the new chosen would arrive. After his memory was removed he was turned into a baby and given to a young couple. Every time he would reach old age rather than die he would transform back into a child and the process would begin anew. It went on like this for millenia until his memory was restored. Templar was the one responsible for writing the Genesis scrolls which entaled the story of the first immortals and prophesied the coming of the chosen. Templar was the first one chosen to become the Celestial Guardian and placed in charge of guarding the keys to heaven and the rest of the universe from the other gods in the Celestial Covenant to prevent Armageddon and the destruction of the universe. Ever since Gideon, The new chosen appeared to become the Celestial Guardian of Earth. He has been placed as Templars Charge.

As the years passed he emassed great wealth. He founded Delgado industries and produced the mystical technology S.N.I.P.E.R and The Clerics of Zion used to combat abnormals such as immortals and many of the creatures of the night. Gabriel walked out of the burning wreckage in front of many eye witnesses. Since that fateful night Gabriel Seraph became known as a Hero. No longer a normal man but an angelic being as his name implied.

It is said that Gabriel Seraph has such abilities like regeneration which gives him the ability to heal very quickly. He can also manipulate divine light energy and summons his sword of the spirit as well as have super human strength. he can also summon the shield of faith. He is a very powerful individual as he has proven in times of crisis. He has taken on some of the most powerful creatures. One such battle, he fought with a very powerful demon lord. The battle lasted for 3 days but the angelic warrior came out on top as he defeated this powerful creature from hell. It was his first battle since regaining his abilities. He has proven to be a very mighty warrior as vicious in combat as he is gentle with his good nature. Beware evil or fall to the Might of Templar

A supernatural electrical storm hit metropolis as a portal opened up. An angelic figure with white hair and what looked like glowing blue wings made of energy came out of it. The angelic figure was Templar. a stranger to earth prime from genesis earth in the nc dimension. He surveyed the new world as he flew over the city. he could sence great evil here. It was no wonder he was sent on a special mission here. His charge, the immortal Gideon had monitered this dimension from his temprary home in Gotham and sent for him.

Doug was a average businessmen working his company up and about to marry his beautiful fiancee Becca before everything went wrong. She was murdered by a gang known as The Crime Ravens who were hired by a man named Slavin. Slavin was an old worker of Doug's before he went criminally insane thus becoming fired. Slavin demanded vengeance after Doug took Slavin's job and family away. Slavin then vowed to take everything from Doug. Doug came home from an amazing business deal to just miss his wife's murderers fleeing the scene. Doug Went to the Raven compound fought his way through the defenses and interrogated the leader. Learning that Slavin was behind it Doug grew angry driving into a trap causing himself to be killed. Doug after his death saw an angel who gave a chance to kill Slavin and help others but it also came with a term. Doug would be forced to fight horrors that no man would dream of facing. Doug however took the deal regaining his life and some newly found powers. Along with these powers came a weapon that would be Doug's weapon of Vengeance. Doug then took the name Drazon and continued his campaign against anything disrupting the balance of good and evil.

Power: Being Immortal, Eternus is completely immune to all types of mental and physical trauma. His cells cannot be altered or manipulated in any way. Because of this, his body does not undergo changes with age and cannot change size, shape, is unneffected by all forms of toxicity, cannot phase through objects and objects cannot phase through it. He can also not be teleported (as his molecule cannot be dispersed), unless by way of portals. He can use all of his muscles, at full strength, for an unlimited amount of time (He produces no fatigue toxins and never tires). His mind also cannot be manipulated, thus is immune to mental illusions, mind control, and cannot be communicated with through telepathy. He also has an unlimited Eidetic memory.

Abilities: Over time, Eternus has studied nearly all martial arts known to man, and many which have since been long forgotten, and applied them in his own fighting style when the right circumstance arises. He also has amassed vast knowledge and wisdom over time. That being said, he is one of the top martial artists of earth, more than proficent in using most ancient to futuristically advanced weaponry, is nearly unmatched in swordplay, and has developed a keeness to finding and exploiting weaknesses.

Equipment: A nigh indestructable sword that can slice through most substances and energies with ease, non-magnetic suit made of self-repairing Tungsten carbide in the form of microscopic links, luger, elecrotromagnetic pulse emitter, and others.

You have a really cool looking toon with a neat backstory, and you are free to claim whatever you want to about him. But please understand that in the poll contests he will be considered to be the same low level beginning DCUO character as his opponent, so that if you claim in the thread that he should win simply because you have declared him to be Captain Unbeatable, that for most of the readers that will actually count against him.

In actual gameplay, a player that has a realistic assessment of their strengths and weaknesses is more likely to win, because a delusional player will take risks that a more rational player will avoid.

If, for example, someone thinks that they can handle a punch that Doomsday is about to lay on their toon so they don't try to avoid it, the most likely result is a big pile of bloody goo in the spot where their toon used to be and a laughing Doomsday.

Oh, he's very beatable. Much in the way DCUO implacates defeat: getting knocked into a brick wall, incapacitated, or thrown into space.

That's why i decided to post my bio because even in my comic book Tempar is my answer to Superman. i'm doing the same thing with him as I did with Gideon having him weakened in DCUO even if it's not in his bio. I fgured I would let my character bio speak for himself. I'm not a big fan of making comparisons because each comic universe is different and the characters from the different Comic universes differ in power. Example compared to marvel all the dc characters are over powered and compared to DC all the characters of the dragon ball series are even more overpowered. I rather let you guys read my bio and determine whether he has what it takes.
