It really pisses me off when people go around saying it is creepy when guys and girls play as the opposite sex in online games, as if it actually means we are gay or transsexual in real life. Some people just prefer playing as female and male characters in games. There is nothing wrong with that, and the people who do say there is something wrong with it, they need to get over themselves and keep their comments to themselves. No, I am not ranting about anyone on here specific, just the gaming community as a whole. Allot of gamers judge people differently just by the character they play.
Most homosexuals who game play as the opposite sex, some don't, but most do. You should be able to play as who you want to play and not get criticized or hurt by it. There is nothing wrong with it and I think people just need to stop complaining about it all the time. I must say though, if you are playing as the opposite sex and leading someone on inside the game, that is wrong. It is wrong to take advantage of people like that and lead them on. Tell them you are the opposite sex and if they don't want to game with you, then don't. No harm done.

I don't play as females, because: A) I don't want to be hit on by creepy spandex wearing guys, & B) It's hard for me to get into "character" as a girl when I RP. Not sure why, considering I grew up around 13 of them, but I just can't RP a girl.

dude calm down. i've seen guys play as girls all the time in online games. it really doesn't mean anything. it's you who blows it out of proportion with your extreme reaction.

I've went around and ask Certain people how they feel as a project.
How do you feel about Guy's playing girls ?
Cleric:Doesn't bother me one bit, guys play girls for different reasons. Galphar:dosn't bother me as long as they don't try to fool everyone into thinking they're a chick IRL RD: It is wrong of them to post as females and ask you out . . . . just be upfront and tell them you are a guy . . . if they don't want to game with you . . . . then don't game with them.
How do you feel about Guy's who play as female Character's ?
TechNoir:I have absolutely nothing against it. Blood Knight's a guy, and he's a good friend of mine. I know I sometimes played as Samus or Zelda in Brawl, or Hitomi in Dead or Alive.
Have you ever played as a female character if so why ?
TechNoir:Let me put it this way. If you're a straight guy and you're tired of being in a meat locker, and you have to look at the backside of a character while in gameplay, it might as well be a nice ass.

i dont play females in MMORPG's simply because I cant wrap my head around the characters reactions. it always feels "off". Now i do like playing tomb raider and other games that have a female lead, then its not my character im playing but someone elses lol.

I usually play an alt character that is female, and I make them as hot as possible. I tell everyone I'd rather look at a chick than a dude. Usually I use them in support roles or as crafters to support my mains expensive pvp gear.

I've played in MMOs with guys playing girls..I've played table top rp with guy playing girls. Heck I played Live Action Vampire, and this friend of mine, dressed up like girl and played one well.
