Methos has been gaming online since he was introduced to MUDs by a friend in 1990 at the age of 9 years old and on consoles since the Nintendo arrived for Christmas that first glorious year. This eventually led to games like Doom, Warcraft, Command & Conquor, Unreal Tournament and on through all the iterations of them. It was part of the natural evolutionary process that Methos started playing MMO's, which he saw novelty in as a sort of "Graphical MUD", the first of which was Anarchy Online. The genre hooked him, and he played many others including Star Wars Galaxies, EverQuest II, Planetside, Dark Age of Camelot, Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Age of Conan and probably a couple others which he fails to remember. Outside of the virtual world, Methos is an IT Consultant by day and handyman by night. He is single and enjoys Motorcycling, paintball, and BBQ. Vicious has been a gamer and comic geek for the better part of the last 3 decades. He got his start in gaming with the Atari 2600 and the NES shortly thereafter. Since then he's owned every major console and handheld system released in North America. He's always been a Nintendo fan at heart, but considers himself platform agnostic. He's also been collecting comics since he picked up his first issue of Uncanny X-men way back in 1983. In more recent years, DC comics have taken over most of his reading habits. Vicious' RPG affair began in High School in his Advanced Dungeon and Dragons (2nd Edition) campaign. After playing the likes of Robotech, RIFTS, Vampire and Marvel RPGs, he moved onto MMO's with the advent of Everquest. His MMO experience extended through FFIX, SWG, CoH, EQ2, but most of all WoW where he played a Max level Troll Hunter named Slughorn from launch to the present. He enjoys gaming, drawing, playing with his 3 children and working on is Animation degree at Art Institute Online. Vicious can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Scott took interest in MMO's and computers ever since he first bought Everquest at around the age of 13. Unexpectedly though the graphics card that was on the computer did not allow him to play the game at all. Ever since that first graphics card change Scott has been interested in everything computers and games. Scott started out playing games such as C&C, Shogun Total War, Counter-Strike, and even dabbling in the table top games of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k. However none of those games matched the fun of playing MMO's, and he has enjoyed ones such as DAoC and Anarchy Online. Taking an interest in those games, Scott attended Purdue University in search of an Animation major. After two years at the school, he decided to call it quits and go in search of a Web Design major. He has developed several other websites before, most notably the now collapsed fansite for Warhammer Online, war-rvr.net. He also enjoys playing guitar and still likes to play with legos. Scott also finds it hard to write in the third person. You can contact Scott at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Michael was born around the Pacific well over two decades ago. His first video game experience was with his father's Atari 2600, playing games ranging from the classic Pac-Man, E.T.(ugh) to his childhood favorite, Missile Command. While he enjoyed the experience with the console, it wouldn't be until his family introduced the Super Famicom to the household that his casual amusement with games grew into a deep fascination. This interest would continue well into the teenage years and adulthood, driven on by his exposure to the NES after moving to the States and followed through from console to console. While having played a wide selection of games spanning across multiple genres, Michael(known in the forums by his hastily chosen forum moniker of "Awesome Sauce") has had a limited experience with MMORPGS. Having only played Guild Wars and Dark Age of Camelot in the past, his interest in Massively Multiplayer Online Games has never been too great until the announcement of DC Universe Online, an MMO that combined his interest in comics and love of action games. Awesome Sauce can be reached at

Born from the violent fires of the Pacific ocean's most dangerous volcano, Tony was born to game. It began as a friendly romp through Dreamland as an adorable puffball and quickly spiraled into an obsession into anything nerdy. Pen/Paper, Tabletop, CCG, Toys, and especially Video Games served as this Mod's weapon of choice throughout the years. Why Create DCUO Source? After having been involved in "corporate" fansites I have been itching to strike out on my own and create a fansite which is a true fansite, not a site where there are expectations by higher ups, and rules that we have to conform to. This is our site, but what that really means is that this is your site. You have the freedom to take this site in any direction you choose, we're just here to help it on its way. Moderation will be light, so feel free to speak your opinions. With any luck, fans of the comics, fans of the game, and maybe even developers of the game can come here and enjoy the give and take of constructive debate on how the game is being developed. It's also our hope that this site will become a repository of all things DCUO, from videos, to screenshots, to exclusives from SOE that can be found nowhere else. At the end of the day, we created this site because we believe that of all the MMOs on the market, DCUO has a chance to do something different, to be a game which finally transcends the "typical MMO" that gamers have complained about since the release of second generation MMOs beginning with Anarchy Online and DAoC. Whether that happens or not is certainly up in the air, but we are going to have a blast finding out! |
